FORMALITIES FOR ENTRY IN SENEGAL

Visitors to Senegal must possess a valid passport (with a minimum of 3 months validity after the stay in Senegal). Citizens of member countries of the European Union, ECOWAS countries, Israel, Japan, Taiwan, United States, Canada,  and some North African countries do not need a visa to enter Senegal.

Citizens of other countries must consult their local embassy, consulate, or other representative institution of Senegal to obtain a visa.

It is necessary to ensure that your healthcare coverage is extended for your stay in Senegal.  Be advised that your health record booklet should be updated could be required for your entry to Senegal.

VACCINATIONS and HEALTH

The Yellow Fever vaccination is obligatory for entry to Senegal. Also, as the risk to health will vary between individuals, please, consult your General Practitioner who will assess your particular health risks before recommending vaccines and /or antimalarial tablets.
